Vmake Labs adds removal modes and AI workflow access to its API

Smart Pro, watermark and subtitle processing can now be requested through Vmake Labs Skill in ChatGPT, Claude Code and OpenClaw.

Vmake Labs has expanded its API with three removal modes and a workflow integration intended to let users carry out post-production tasks from within AI tools including ChatGPT, Claude Code and OpenClaw. The additions are Smart Pro, Watermark and Subtitle modes. They are aimed at developers and content teams using video and image enhancement or removal tools, while product and commercial platform teams can integrate the processing service without building their own technology stack. Smart Pro is designed for demanding watermark-removal jobs. Watermark mode targets complex, large-area and moving marks, while Subtitle mode is intended to remove subtitles with cleaner treatment of affected areas, more natural background reconstruction and smoother edge transitions. The company had introduced Smart Pro in its Video Watermark Remover on Aug. 26 as an Auto-mode tier for difficult material such as moving text, animated subtitles and complex backgrounds. It is intended for marketers, video editors and creators working with their own or properly licensed footage, and is now among the modes available through the API. Vmake Labs Skill provides a natural-language route to request processing from familiar AI interfaces. According to the company, users can continue with video enhancement, quality restoration or unwanted-subtitle removal inside an AI workflow, reducing tool switching, setup steps and the need to learn separate interfaces. Its developer page instructs Claude Code users to send the prompt “Help me install VmakeSkill”; Claude Code can then run a task and return processed media. The page also gives examples of prompts for watermark removal and 4K video enhancement with improved facial detail. The company has redesigned its homepage and revised the API guidance to make supported platforms, available capabilities and integration choices clearer. Images are charged per image and videos by length, while teams can set a daily credit limit to manage usage and spending. Before the update, customers primarily accessed Vmake Labs processing through its API, software-development kit or existing integrations. The expanded access addresses cases where users in AI environments might otherwise have switched tools, as well as footage requiring more than the standard Smart mode. Vmake Labs’ video watermark-removal service also supports erase and protect zones and batch uploads of up to 30 videos. The company offers a five-second free preview before HD export; it says typical processing takes about 30 seconds to one minute, depending on video resolution, duration and watermark complexity.
